My work blurs the boundaries of the two and three-dimensional through various techniques and materials. Seemingly flat lines and forms protrude into space. Caught in this spacial ambiguity, the starkly silent, yet distinctly present characters appear aware of their odd predicament. Devoid of context and stripped of external identity, they are portraits of souls - ageless, anonymous, and solitary. Their longing stares serve as a mute communication from which a distinct visual and psychological intimacy emerges.

Peru Ana Ana Peru originated in Bushwick, Brooklyn, New York. We are two people, a guy and a girl, or, if you will, a girl and a guy. Currently we spend a good amount of our time making random trinkets and then leaving them on the streets for other people to find, as well as trying to be able to solve a rubik's cube in under a minute.

Entertainment is defined as a thing that interests, pleases or amuses. It's my goal to accomplish these very things and to communicate or touch the viewer on some level making them laugh, smile and cry simultaneously. I use distortion as a tool to emphasize and amplify quirks and feelings to push emotions within the viewer in hopes of revealing to them the magic that takes place everyday in our lives. Ultimately, my paintings are about crazy, whimsical characters performing acts from the ordinary to the extraordinary, experiencing hidden emotions that are both hilarious and tragic at the same time.

Zoltron is the founder and creative director of the infamous self-titled design company as well as notorious silkscreen sticker printing company, Sticker Robot.
