Creating immortal art on someone's body has interested me for the longest time. I am mostly inspired by realistic, creative artwork, and gear that inspiration toward putting my artwork on a new type of canvas, the body. I like simple. Simple like punk rock. Simple like Detroit techno. Simple like the blues. But simple is never as easy at it looks. And so it is with minimalism. I'm not one for dogma, so I skip the purist approach. Repetition, variation, ready-mades, the grid... they're just the tools, but never the rules. And if I color outside the lines? Oh well. That's what makes it mine.
