I'm interested in colors, shapes and textures. I like art to evoke or provoke a certain feeling or ambiance for the viewer, whatever it may be. Inspirations are: birds chirping late at night, swimming pools, thrift stores, kicking rocks and pushing shopping carts together.

Jack lives in Los Angeles, a wonderful, but occasionally aggravating place. His desire is to become a professional screenwriter, but making movies is his general passion. As such he was naturally was drawn to photography. But he is a man of many influences and trades, however, visual imagery has a special place in his heart. Everyone loves to look at interesting photos, but the feeling people get for looking at other peoples photos is only superseded by the feeling garnered by gazing upon your own art.

My paintings are created out of a desire to entertain and communicate moods and feelings, a sense of shared purpose. I enjoy experimenting with color, line and expression. Sometimes I am surprised by a particular face: the potency of her focus and intention. People have asked if these are all me! Of course not! But they all contain facets of me . . . and you . . . and her . . . and she. The woman face you see here is named "Analise - Goddess of Joy and Love." I have a whole slew of Goddesses, and they each have their own spirit, aura and personality. Creating art is how I cleanse myself of the day's accumulation of stimuli and dust. It's the only thing that steadies me. "Too much information" should be the motto of the 21st century.

I work in Los Angeles as a bassist/graphic designer. Before I moved here my friend in Nashville gave me this Peavy bass in pieces, with all the finish stripped. I figure I'll paint it with all my left-over acrylic paint from various art projects. What better way to represent my passion in music and art by using a bass as a canvas and painting all these cool comic book characters? I get a special feeling playing this "piece" since a lot of my time and feeling went into it.

I use a unique acrylic paint technique to create collages with contrasting textures and images. Words, ideas, colors, designs, and motifs all overlap to create a seemingly random, yet structured, pattern. My work allows the viewer a glimpse into the subconscious inner workings of my mind. Each piece of work is a snapshot, a moment from my daily life that neatly encapsulates my interests, activities, emotions, and ideas.

Jack lives in Los Angeles, California. More specifically, the valley... porn capital of the world. I'm going to college here for Cinematography. Light has interested me from a young age and I naturally was drawn to photography. Photography is a duly appropriate art for someone as visually influenced as me. But I am a man of many influences and trades, however, visual imagery has a special place in my heart. Everyone loves to look at interesting photos, but the feeling people get for looking at other peoples photos is only superseded by the feeling garnered by gazing upon your own art.

I rip, tear, mutilate, deconstruct and arrange photographs and other scanned materials digitally. I'm fickle with my subject matter but certain symbols and objects do present themselves often enough to be thematic: crosses, grass, trees, animals, people, water, clouds. These things have usually been manipulated to the point where they're barely recognizable. Despite this, my work strives to convey a sense of story or underlying narrative.

I'm a Boston native living in Los Angeles who never thought he would miss the cold, rain, and seasons in general so much. I take pictures whenever I can find the time and enjoy photoshopping them to my heart's content as I try bring my "inner style" to the surface. I aspire to be an internet mogul and consider my broadband connection as important as my own circulatory system.

I'm a visual storyteller—-and the more peculiar the story the better. Made-up-creatures, aliens, monsters and personified animals and objects populate my images. I love exaggerating gestures and features, causing my audience to gasp or cackle..

I'm a 5th semester illustration major at the University of Connecticut. This drawing was not originally skewed the way it is now. It's based off of Silverchair's "Reflections of a Sound" music video which had a modern art theme. I decided to do a portrait of Daniel Johns, of whom I am a big fan, in sharpie, and then place it in a Mondrian-style background. I mostly work in pencil, although I have worked with oils a lot in the past. I'm highly influenced by comic book art, to the likes of Timothy Bradstreet, as well as illustrations by Barry Moser.
