    Victor Bunn

I've been drawing as long as I can remember. At least since I was 4. Although I've used different mediums and methods in the past I've always come back to pencil and paper. I like the texture that I can create with hatching and different pencil leads which you can see in my portraits. I have a place in my heart for digital work but the computer should enhance the foundation of traditional skills and not be the skill itself. Character designs are also a great love for me. I grew up in an animation/comic book/video game dominated era and sometimes it shows. Although, these things don't influence me as much as they once did. More »

I always thought it was funny when asked to provide an artist's statement. I always believed an artists' work should make its own statement and define itself to the viewer. An artists' work can delve into so many complex themes and these will always vary depending on the audience. If the artist felt the need to further explain his work, then dialogue would seem to a better channel than an umbrella statement. If anything I create happens to resonate with an audience and create an understanding without the need for further words than I am content. If not, then here you have it. More »

I draw mostly in black and white using a lot of black indian ink on paper...the reason is that I like strong feelings, strong contradictions ...and the best contradiction, and the stronger contradiction is the contradiction and the eternal war between the black and the white...the white sheet of the paper is my mind...or a part of my mind,my mind without thoughts ....the lines, the strong brushfuls of ink,black...are my thoughts and my feelings...I've not a simple soul&mind...I've various and many souls in my soul ...many minds in my mind...so are my artworks, dark&dreaming, chaotic&anarchic, strong & hallucinated, disturbing, freak, weird... Tim E. Ogline

Tim E. Ogline has always sought to draw on the Right Brain for the Left Brain. Ogline utilizes a creative process that gathers inspiration for imagery from a realm of intuition. He carefully considers the raw idea and employs a methodology of rationalism to shape the concept into a smart, evocative vehicle with which to communicate the message with his pain-staking, quality-driven line art. Melissa Contreras

A native Californian, Melissa Contreras grew up dreaming of swimming with dolphins and painting circus posters. She tried to become a marine biologist, but got tired of smelling dead cats in class. She stopped painting because she thought she was not good enough and spent years designing catalogs so she could eat. Melissa started drawing again when she realized not drawing was bleeding her heart and slowly killing her. She began exploring her own creative ideas again, at first doing crafts, and more recently illustrations and painting. Foolishly following her heart, she continues to dream and draw and hopefully, one day, swim with dolphins. More »

    Lee Nickless

As a burgeoning artist from rural Australia, Lee Nickless' primary artistic focus was drawing. As both his self and art matured, the painter began experimenting with acrylics and pastels on canvas, devising new and innovative techniques to create depth and texture on a two-dimensional surface. Nickless' art entices the viewer by drawing the spectator into his world with his extraordinary sense of colour, his unique textures, and his boyish symbolism. Nickless has previously exhibited his work in Melbourne, Australia, in London, England, Canada and the USA. More »

    Joey Kilrain

All of my work is based on relationships with friends and family, corporate America, and the cycles life has put me through. Both this jubilance and search for meaning is portrayed through my art. The paintings use bright colors and superficially has a fun style. When one looks closer into the paintings he/she can realize the depths of the messages - deception, greed, corruption, death, unity, perseverance, rebuilding, positive thinking, and faith. The drawings pull from different scenes of my most gruesomely sad and wildly insane moments. More »
