Mad king (A.K.A. Jake Johanson) is a self taught artist, which has given him a unique perspective on both composition and technique. His work has been seen gracing album covers, party flyers and skateboards, placing Mad King's work in the current social zeitgeist. His work has also adorned the walls of the BMOCA and the Rohsska Museum in Gothenburg. Some of the celebrities who own his original work include; Lorin Bassnectar, Tipper, Proem, Matmos, {a}Pendics Shuffle, Edit, Stephen Beaupre, and Mr. projectile. Jared W. Brown is a self-proclaimed nerd-artist living in Denver. He grew up on a steady diet of G.I. Joe and Transformers, and a myriad of other things they're making terrible movies out of these days. His work consists of cartoonish robots doing human things like going to work and dating. He also has paintings of Star Wars and 80s cartoon characters. His site, RobotsOnCandy.com, showcases his most recent work.

My work emphasizes several things. Color, line, and texture are the base idea behind every piece, and are the most important thing to me. There is a duality present- chaos and cleanliness merging, thought-out meticulous line work paired with random stream of consciousness flow, and a stark reality with tinges of a dreamtime within. The themes also focus on duality; both sides of an idea or a struggle. Struggles such as good vs. evil, man vs. machine, nature vs. mankind. The future is viewed in two ways, as a bleak shell devoid of life, or as a simpler Utopian affair where man and nature coexist.
