Neonsandwich is the creator of the artform Pop-Taoism. Pop-Taoism is inspired by Neonsandwich's 5 years of study with Taoist master, Dr. Wang Xue-Zhi, whose distinguished family history originates from the imperial court system in the Forbidden City of pre-revolutionary Beijing. Neonsandwich trained in the art of Taoist Philosophy, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, & 5-animal Play. Based on several years of study with Master Wang Xue-Zhi, Neonsandwich has taken the ideas of Jia-Taoism/Philosophical Taoism and merged them with western culture,and New Media, creating the new art form Pop-Taoism. The interplay of Yin/Yang philosophy and formal study under a Taoist master are key to Pop-Taoism.
