My approach to making art is focused on both traditional and new media techniques. I love the tactile touch of carving a woodblock or lino from which the resulting matrix is inked and an edition is pulled. I also enjoy mousing about within the world of digital media. The options are infinite, posing one iteration upon another straining the editorial skills of the visual artist. I am intrigued by the possibilities offered by both, and the potential for a kind of hybrid printmaking process where one matrix is physical and the other expressed as binary numbers.
