I don't take pictures. I make pictures. I treat my photography as a filmmaker would.
Sometimes it starts as a story that I've heard. Then I scout locations and cast people. But it can also go either way. Someone I meet could inspire me or a location I have scouted could do the same. I also take pictures of what I consider potential locations and just sit on them, i keep the picture on the wall, in my bag even in my phone and wait for the scene to come to me, then I go out cast the right people and make the picture.
