I make pop art unapologetically, because it was the musky pages of old comic books, the whiz-bang splendor of science fiction movies, and the sprawling adventures of Saturday morning cartoons that shaped and inspired my young imagination, making me into an adult who still wonders if there are tiny civilizations under mossy old logs, or tentacled creatures living at the bottom of murky lakes. The answers may have gotten a bit more bizarre through the cynical lens of adulthood, but if I ever get too old to stop asking the questions, I'll have lost a vital part of myself.

Creating imagery that speaks to the imagination helps me keep my inner child alive and kicking.
