Karyn Raz is an illustrator and painter based in Santa Monica, CA. She is inspired by a good story, folk art, and all things colorful, from the paintings of Ernst Ludwig Kirchner to the textile designs of Josef Frank. She works in gouache and acrylic, and usually begins with a simple sketch.
Karyn's clients and publications include Hadassah Magazine, Vans, Mazon, Adidas, and Society of Illustrators West. Her work has been shown in galleries including Junc, Billy Shire Fine Arts and Nucleus. Karyn is a graduate of Brown University and Art Center College of Design.
