Gregoire Ganter

Art by Mary Cassidy The city of New York looms large in Grégoire Ganter's photography. Born in France, Grégoire moved to New York as a child and was soon inspired to capture the city. He chose photography, and specifically photographic collage to document the city's ever changing architecture. His alphabet series was inspired by the birth of his first daughter in 2003 and is geared towards education and decoration. He captures letters and images throughout his travels and re assembles them to illustrate the alphabet.
