My work is more concerned with immediate visual and emotional impact, rather than with any underlying conceptual theory; in this sense it is closer to advertising and propaganda than it is to traditional fine art. I would hesitate to call myself an artist, as my goal is to create images that are both instantly endearing and accessible - the key is to be deeply superficial.
